What file formats are supported?

Normain supports a wide range of formats, including:

  • Documents: PDF (including OCR), Word, PowerPoint
  • Spreadsheets: Excel, CSV, Google Sheets
  • Other formats: images, JSON, Markdown, Google Docs and Google Slides

What data sources can I use?

You can work with documents from multiple sources:

  • Uploads: drag and drop files directly into Normain
  • URLs: paste web links (with optional crawling)
  • Cloud storage: connect SharePoint, Google Drive, or Box

Can I use Normain without cloud integrations?

Yes. Integrations are optional. You can upload files directly or extract from URLs without connecting cloud storage.

How secure is my data?

Normain is built with enterprise-grade security. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the platform maintains ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications.

What is the difference between Card and Table View and Repeat Mode?

Card View runs each insight across all selected sources at once. It is best when information is spread across documents or needs cross-referencing.

Repeat Mode repeats the Extraction per file or folder item. It is best when you want one row per document, such as invoices, contracts, or forms.
